Welcome to the Arthur Medical Centre Website

Through this website we hope to improve our services to all our patients and enable you to find what you need at the click of a mouse. You can order repeat prescriptions online, register as a new patient, cancel existing appointments, change your name and address and much more.

We are always looking to improve our services so please feel free to write to us or speak to the Practice Manager, contact can also be made via the "Contact Details" page of this website. If you would like to provide feedback via our Patient Participation Group (PPG) then please write to the PPG c/o Arthur Medical Centre.

As you will be aware, further COVID restrictions are coming to an end on the 19th July. However, in accordance with Public Health England Infection Control guidance, we will still require our patients to wear face masks or coverings (unless you are exempt), use hand gel and continue to follow social distancing guidelines when visiting our practice. These measures are still necessary for your safety and that of other vulnerable patients who attend appointments. This will also help to safeguard our staff to ensure we can continue to operate and provide our services to our community.

August 2021 - Please read the following in relation to Lateral Flow and PCR testing:

If you get a positive result from a Lateral Flow test, you should isolate and book a PCR test via , or by calling 119 if you are unable to book online.

If you have symptoms of potential Covid-19, a Lateral Flow test will not be sufficient and you will need to isolate and book a PCR test to confirm if you have Covid-19 or not.

Please do not visit the practice if you have symptoms of potential covid-19, or have a positive PCR or lateral flow test result.
